Differentiability is not preserved by pointwise convergence.

Author:
Vincent Pantaloni
Here, each f_n is differentiable on R, in particular, for every n in N*, f'_n(0)=0. The sequence converges pointwise to the absolute value which is not differentiable in zero. This counter-example shows that differentiability is not preserved by pointwise convergence.
