Translations
Translations are transformations that move an object, or point left, right, up, or down. It is sometimes referred to as a "Slide".
When you perform a transformation on a figure such as a translation you create an IMAGE. The image of A is called A' (pronounced as A-prime).
When describing a translation, you need to include the direction (up, down, left or right) as well as the magnitude (how many units, e.g. 3 units)
