This demonstrates the standing wave (purple) made up by two waves moving in opposite directions (red and blue). You can turn on and off the waves by clicking the boxes. There is also a play button in the lower left to get the waves moving.
Pay special attention to the regions of constructive (antinodes) and destructive (nodes) interference.
