Estimating the Slope of a Tangent Line

I find that even though students understand that a tangent line is the line just touching the curve at a given point, they struggle with actually visualizing and/or drawing the tangent line themselves. Use this applet to practice visualizing the line tangent to the curve at the point x=a and to estimate the slope of the tangent line, defined as f'(a).
