Compass and Straightedge Constructions

Compass and Straightedge Constructions Based on the SSS Triangle Congruence Property and Properties of a Rhombus

These constructions only use tools equivalent to the classical Greek constructions using a compass and a straightedge. Only these tools remain in the toolbar, along with a couple of measuring tools. All of the constructions here are based on the SSS Triangle Congruence Theorem or Properties of a Rhombus. Detailed steps are given for how to construct these geometric figures using a physical compass and straightedge. Click on the various check boxes and explore. Try performing these constructions on paper with your own compass and straightedge.
