Grading Policy from the Syllabus
Your grade will be computed based on 570 possible points. The points are distributed as follows.
• Three exams (100 pts. each)
• Homework, quizzes, and daily Moodle posts (70 pts.)
• Labs (50 pts.)
• Final exam (150 pts.)
Note: The lowest homework grade and the lowest quiz grade will be dropped.
Final grades will be computed using the following chart.
A: 93% & above
A-: 90%–92.99%
B+: 86.67%–89.99%
B: 83.33%–86.66%
B-: 80%–83.32%
C+: 76.67%–79.99%
C: 73.33%–76.66%
C-: 70%–73.32%
D+: 66.67%–69.99%
D: 63.33%–67.66%
D-: 60%–63.32%
F: 59.99% and below
