pointed arch

A semiscircular arch can be seen as joined quarters of two circles with radius half of the segment AB. Now drag the green point to the left.
  • The radii become larger
  • The two circular joining arches nog longer form a semicircular arch but a pointed arch.
  • The more leftwards you drag the point, the steeper and the higher the arch becomes.
